I just cannot begin to explain how hot it is here, according to sources we can expect another five degrees celcius on top of this temperature. Currently we have averages of fourty seven and fourty eight degrees. I think you could cook eggs on the top of cars… Wonder if anyone has tried it? Hmmm… All i can say is thank goodness for air-conditioning… oh tha
Cannot get over the fact that its been six months already. Every now and then i get speaking to someone back home only to realise i have not spoken to them in almost a month. It’s going to be Soccer crazy back in South Africa and just want everyone to Enjoy it safely, very proud of my friend Lisa who is going to be directly involved and im probably going to ask her every day to see how things are going – Sorry lis’! im going to be a bit of a nag bag. 
Something random – I was kind of pleased I havent lost my SA Accent cause I cant hear it anymore, I was chatting away in a shop here on base and some randomd Panteoffel type of character came up to me and he said “Jirre jy praat Kak Hey” hahahahaha classic.
Now Live, From Baghdad

So it’s the end of my first working day in Baghdad, what a trip so far, I was in transit from 6:30 on Saturday until Mid day on Sunday when I landed in Iraq.
After landing in Iraq I have a whole new concept now of flying, its called “Evasive Manouvers”… on a commerical airline by the way, the pilot cruises in at around 30000 Feet and informs the crew to prepare for landing… shortly after that you hear the landing gear come out and then this rapid descent from the sky occurs… he drops the plane from that nice cruising altitude to the ground in little more than two and half minutes. *Jeepers*
Needles to say ive been so franticaly busy I havent slept since leaving Johannesburg on Saturday, doubt at this point that I will even be able to sleep at all.
Tomorrow I will fill you in on the fantastic Dining here at camp.

So we move into a new year, 2007, pretty soon those flying cars will be a thing of the past for all those sci-fi movies of the past millenium… or will they? either way whether its in flying cars or not I am definately going places this year. Two of my best friends and I would really like to go see some new places including some which can only be reached through Astral Projection 
we are going to certainly start on those places right away, ultimately we would also like to go and be in other countries this year, mention of Germany, UK, anywhere else in Europe. All the best to everyone for this year, I do honestly feel its going to be an awesome year for everyone.
